Euribor August/2026 raises to 2,954%
The monthly Euribor, which is used each month as a reference to calculate most mortgages in Spain, stood at 2.954% in August, that is, 0.099 points more than the previous month, when it was 2.855%.
This rate means that an average mortgage in Spain of €120,000 over 20 years, reviewed in August, will pay €49,20 more in its monthly installment—a difference of €590 per year—since the Euribor has raised 0.84 points compared to August 2025.
The Euribor began 2026 at 2.245%, meaning that, for the time being, it has recorded an increase of 0.709 percentage points so far this year.
