Denia launches into Pescatourism
Spending a day on a fishing boat and fishing together with the sailors, for tourists from Denia, Costa Blanca this experience is now a reality and one more attraction of Denia's tourist offer.
Peschatourism, a pioneering project that the Valencian Tourism Agency presented at the Fitur last January, is now a reality, and the pilot test took place in June, bringing together a large number of people, including the mayor of Dénia. Starting in the next few weeks, the Fishermen's Guild, located in the Denia Market, will manage this activity.
Apart from going out by boat, one receives a lot of information about fishing in its different forms, the facilities of the fish market and net workshops and the opportunity to buy part of the caught fish on board.
