Euribor June 2020

The Euribor, which is used every month as a reference for the calculation of most mortgages in Spain, closed June at -0.147%, that is, 0.066 points more than the previous month, when it stood at -0.081%.

The Euribor is the index to which most mortgages in Spain are referenced. This quotation means that an average mortgage, which in Spain is 120,000 euros for 20 years, and which is revised in June, will pay 0,21 euros more in its monthly payment, which will mean a difference of about 26 euros per year, as the Euribor has raised 0.043 points with respect to June 2019.

The Euribor began 2020 at -0.253%, which, for the moment, accumulates an increase of 0.106 points throughout the year.
