To stay aboard a fishing boat accompanying the fishermen´s daily rutine, for the tourists of Denia, Costa Blanca this has become reality and forms part of its already wide tourist offer.
Being presented in January by the Valencian Tourist Agency at Spain´s most important tourism fair Fitur, the ground-breaking project Tourist Fishing has already become reality in Denia. In June, an important number of people, among them Denia´s mayor, did a trial run.
During the next weeks it will be the Fisherman´s Association, located at the Fishmarket in Denia, which is organising this activity.
It does not only consists in joining the crew on one of the professional fishing boats of the local fleet, but the participants will learn more about the different fishing techniques, the sell of the frish fish and th trawl workshops, and they can also buy aboard part of the fresh capture.
